Densimeter - Specific Gravity Tester is an advanced Density testing equipment for measuring solid and liquid samples with high precision sensor and auto-weighing function.

Applications

This popular line of cost-effective and top quality electronic densimeters has extensive use and applications in the quality control and testing laboratories, especially in the rubber and plastics industry. These easy to use and highly accurate units are available in three different models, depending on the level of accuracy and resolution needed. A special GK-Series of these densimeters are available for density and carat measurement of precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum.

Features

  • Accurate measurement of the specific gravity of rubber, plastics, and much more
  • High stability weighing sensor
  • Auto-weighing function
  • Powder Density, which improves working efficiency and accuracy
  • Simple & convenient operation by placing the sample on top of the container, and then in the water container

Advantages

  • Measuring capacity up to 3kg
  • Compact body and accurate density measurement for solid and liquid samples.
  • Only 10 seconds to measure density and volume, just putting the sample into the water.
  • Powder density measurement with a resolution of 0.001g/㎤ and a reference value of 0.0001g/㎤.

Theory/Method

These test methods cover the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the composition of rubber products of the "R" family; describe the determination of the specific gravity (relative density) and density of solid plastics in forms such as sheets, rods, tubes, or molded items; and the determination of the density and relative density of non-cellular plastics in the form of sheet, film, tube, moulded objects, and moulding powders, granules and pellets.
