Handheld Thermal Imaging Camera – QualiTC™ 25
The QualiTC™ 25 handheld thermal imaging camera is a high-resolution WiFi thermal camera designed for electricians, HVAC technicians, maintenance teams, and industrial inspection professionals. It combines a 320×240 thermal sensor with a 640×480 visible-light camera to provide detailed thermal and visual information in one device. Built-in wireless transmission allows images to be sent directly to a connected smartphone or PC, helping technicians review and share inspection results quickly.
With a temperature measurement range of -20°C to 450°C (-4°F to 842°F), the QualiTC™ 25 is suitable for a wide range of electrical and mechanical inspection applications. It can help identify abnormal temperatures in electrical panels, floor heating systems, plumbing, power distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.
Advanced Thermal and Visual Imaging
The QualiTC™ 25 handheld thermal camera provides multiple image display options, including outline fusion, overlay fusion, and picture-in-picture (PIP). These modes combine thermal and visible-light information to make hot areas, cold areas, and potential faults easier to locate.
For detailed temperature analysis, the camera supports hotspot, cold spot, center-point, and regional measurement modes. These measurement tools give technicians greater flexibility when evaluating temperature variations across equipment, components, and surfaces.
An IP54-rated enclosure helps protect the thermal imaging camera from dust and splashing water, making it suitable for demanding inspection environments and active job sites. Images can be saved in TIFF format, preserving detailed image data for post-inspection analysis and documentation.
Long Battery Life and Field-Ready Design
The QualiTC™ 25 is powered by a built-in 4800 mAh lithium battery that provides approximately four hours of continuous operation. Its operating temperature range of -10°C to 60°C (14°F to 140°F) and storage temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F) support use across a variety of working and transport conditions.
The camera includes eight selectable color palettes for different thermal inspection requirements and supports 11 languages, making it practical for technicians and teams working across multiple locations.
With 320×240 thermal resolution, WiFi image transmission, visible-light imaging, multiple fusion modes, and a wide temperature measurement range, the QualiTC™ 25 handheld thermal imaging camera provides a practical solution for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, floor heating, power distribution, and industrial maintenance inspections.

-
Electrical Inspections and Power Distribution Fault Detection: Identify overheating breakers, connectors, cables, and distribution equipment that may indicate electrical faults, excessive loads, or potential fire risks.
-
Floor Heating and Radiant Heating Diagnostics: Visualize heating element layouts beneath flooring and locate cold spots, uneven heating, or failed heating zones without removing floor materials.
-
Plumbing and Pipeline Leak Detection: Detect temperature variations and moisture-related patterns behind walls, around pipes, and along plumbing runs to help locate potential leaks without unnecessary demolition.
-
Printed Circuit Board Troubleshooting: Examine populated circuit boards for abnormal heat patterns and overheating components during electronics repair, testing, and quality control inspections.
-
HVAC and Automotive Diagnostics: Inspect compressors, coils, motors, radiators, engines, and other components for unusual temperature variations that may indicate developing mechanical or thermal problems.
-
Building and Property Inspections: Locate insulation gaps, air leakage areas, moisture intrusion, and thermal irregularities during building inspections, property maintenance, and energy-efficiency assessments. WiFi image transmission also helps speed up image sharing and inspection report preparation.

Theory and Method
The QualiTC™ 25 handheld thermal imaging camera detects infrared radiation emitted by surfaces above absolute zero and converts this thermal energy into measurable temperature data. The camera operates within the 8 to 14 micrometer long-wave infrared (LWIR) range using a 320×240 microbolometer array. As each detector element absorbs infrared radiation, its electrical resistance changes. The onboard processor interprets these changes and calculates a temperature value for each pixel, producing a false-color thermal image with a 9 Hz refresh rate.
A 640×480 visible-light camera simultaneously captures a conventional image of the same scene. The image-processing system accounts for the positional difference between the thermal and visible cameras, aligning the two views for improved scene reference. The QualiTC™ 25 can then save the thermal, visible-light, and blended images together, giving technicians three visual references from a single capture.
The camera supports TIFF image storage, providing detailed image data for further analysis. With the included Windows analysis software, technicians can review temperature information across individual pixels in a saved thermal image rather than relying only on predefined measurement points. 5-meter distance compensation also helps account for signal attenuation as infrared energy travels through the atmosphere, supporting more consistent temperature measurements on targets located farther from the camera.
